Set up once.
Three steps.
- 01Install MusiDrive. It shows up in Finder under Locations.
- 02In Live's browser, click Add Folder… under Places and choose MusiDrive.
- 03Browse, preview and drag sounds onto tracks the way you always have.
Check a project before you open it
Drop an Ableton project into MusiDrive to see every sample it uses and any plugin this Mac still needs.

Save on the studio Mac and the set and its samples are on your laptop about a second later.
Find it by describing it
Press ⌥Space over Live, type "dark choir pad", and drag the result straight onto a track.
Will Live's previews lag?
A sound's first preview comes from the cloud in about a second. After that it opens from your Mac.
Can my Live sets live in MusiDrive too?
Yes. Keep sets and their samples in your Vault and every Mac sees the same folders. Undo any save for 30 days.
